Summary/Abstract: The article presents the results of a study of the news in the social networks of the three national televisions in Bulgaria – BNT, bTV, and Nova Television. Using the dispositive analysis, the study covers several aspects of media activity in the networks: the news agenda of the three national televisions, the news thematic profile, and the degree of user engagement. The results of the research are an important step towards the understanding of the overall media communication process and its context, as they are indirectly an indicator of the editorial policy of television stations regarding their participation in social networks.
