Summary/Abstract: Nowadays all modern software systems contain a solution of some kind for generating SQL queries. In the form of an integrated library, a tool, or a framework, they are an inevitable part of the system’s architecture. They are technologies that make the communication between the database layer and the business logic layer happen in the easiest and the least error-prone manner. A lot of tools and techniques exist in the software development world, some of them good, others not. This article explores the innovative techniques and tools that are reshaping the way SQL queries are built in the modern era.
