Summary/Abstract: John Chrysostom’s homilies Against the Jews (in Greek Êáôά rпυδáßщн) are part of the author’s rich heritage which belongs to the homiletic genre. They are part of the Slavic version of the collection containing Chrysostom’s homilies and sermons called “Margarit” which appeared in the 14th century. The study focuses on the nouns hapax legomena, registered in the translation of John Chrysostom’s anti-Judaic homilies. The word formation process, the semantics of the lexemes and their relation to the original Greek words are traced back. The material for the study is an excerpt from manuscript № F. I 197 in the Russian National Library.
