Summary/Abstract: The focal point of formative assessment in university education reflects a commitment to a more interactive education, oriented towards the studentsʼ integral formation, through constant feedback and continuous improvement of the learning process. Formative assessment is a new strategy that we encounter in postmodern education, which allows students to develop skills to become autonomous in learning. This article presents a series of aspects of the formative assessment drawn from a research carried out together with third-year students from the specialization Pedagogy of Primary and Preschool Education.
