Summary/Abstract: The study of psychological approaches to the development of students' perceptions in the context of national curriculum monitoring is essential in order to optimize the educational process and meet the complex needs of students. A better understanding of how students perceive educational content enables teachers to tailor the curriculum to meet the cognitive needs of their students, thereby contributing to a dynamic learning environment, increased educational effectiveness, and improved academic performance. Curriculum monitoring from this perspective provides the necessary tools to identify the challenges and difficulties that students encounter in their learning, thus allowing for early and tailored intervention. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to analyze in detail the psychological perspectives that influence the development of students' perceptions and how they can be integrated into the monitoring of the national curriculum in the Republic of Moldova.
