Summary/Abstract: During 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic left its mark on almost every sphere of the economy. Travel bans, bans on entry and exit and the countries in which people live, mandatory quarantine after entering another country, fear of mutual contacts and locking of large European and world cities have affected tourism to feel the effects of the pandemic. In order to reduce the movement of the population infected with this virus, it was not uncommon for the personal data of those infected to be published. This paper aims to analyze the legal and economic aspects of the protection of personal data of tourists during the Covid-19 pandemic. The paper also proposes a software solution that would enable better control and registration of infected persons, all with the aim of preventing the spread of the virus by travel.
