Summary/Abstract: This scientific paper examines advanced models for the integration of financial education in a primary school and explores some possibilities for their adaptation towards Bulgarian education system. The author analyzes leading global approaches based on examples from different countries that have successfully introduced and developed financial education in primary school curricula. The report discusses key strategies and practices for teaching the basic principles of financial literacy, including saving, budgeting, and understanding primary financial tools. The emphasis of this study is placed on the opportunities and challenges for adapting these models to the specific conditions of the Bulgarian education system. The author systematizes specific recommendations for improvin curricula and training for teachers. Simultaneously, a preparation of mirror manuals on financial literacy for parents is also considered. The purpose of the paper is to provide an in-depth overview of the state of financial education in primary school and to promote the development of financial literacy among young teachers, students and parents in Bulgaria.
