Summary/Abstract: The scientocentrism that has developed in our consciousness, as a result of the predominant use of conventional scientific methods, techniques and tools in the cognition of truth, when the “scientific” form of cognition – experimental – invariably leads to materialism and rationalism, has predetermined the monopoly of science on true knowledge, separating from it by an insurmountable wall other approaches to the comprehension of truth, other worldviews, world perceptions, from certain – biased “scientific” positions, thereby squeezing our consciousness into the Procrustean bed of the dominant materialism. There are many examples of this. In my speech at the conference, as an illustration of the concept put forward, I will cite some of them.
