Summary/Abstract: This article presents the current state of the Virtual Educational Space. The space is being built as an Internet of Things ecosystem. The individual components of the space are examined in more detail. The role of the event model for operating the space as an Internet of Things application is examined in detail, as well as the new version of this model. Certain challenges of the project are formulated.
