Summary/Abstract: Lifestyle is a multidimensional concept that includes various directions of research and application in order to quantify the effects of certain influencing factors, positive or negative. Lifestyle is mentioned in specialized studies both as a risk factor and as a way of prevention, or part of the therapy of important non-communicable pathologies. Given that these pathologies have a proven starting point in childhood or adolescence, there are arguments regarding the effectiveness of major noncommunicable disease prevention programs by promoting the pillars of a healthy lifestyle in this age group. To be successful, programs that promote a healthy lifestyle start from finding out the motivation and benefits of individual or group participation to the proposed measures. The results are positively correlated with the increase of self-esteem in young people and the adoption of a behavior oriented towards maintaining health in adult life, given the challenges of contemporary society and the accelerated development of technologies.
