Summary/Abstract: Starting from the fact that the digitization of the educational process must be seen as a process that does not replace the role of the teacher but complements and supports it, it is necessary to direct the activity in such a way that the respective process develops the increase in the quality of education. In this sense, the approaches aim at supporting and applying the principle of quality, which is based on several levels, such as instant access to educational resources, operational interactivity to increase the commitment and motivation of the audience for learning, and of course the personalization and adaptation of the instructional content according to individual and collective needs of the audience. Another basic level of the quality principle refers to monitoring and evaluation. This fact is an asset of learning management systems, such as Moodle, because it is possible to provide instant feedback, perform automated assessment, and report on various aspects that allow training to be adapted to the actual situation in the classroom.
