Summary/Abstract: We consider that Father Professor Nicolae D. Necula made the first great synthesis and presentation about the cult, doctrine and religious life of the Coptic Orthodox Church in Romanian theology. This contribution is and will remain a landmark for Orthodox theologians and not only who want to study and have clear information about the Coptic Orthodox Church, as history, doctrine and worship. In the first part of the study, we will present a brief history of the Coptic Orthodox Church, from its beginnings to the present. In the second chapter we will consider the contribution of Father Professor Nicolae D. Necula to the presentation of the doctrine, worship and church life of the Coptic Orthodox Church. Our study wants to present the contribution Father Professor Nicolae D. Necula had in the Romanian theological space as well as his ecumenical vision, having as a foundation the common points that the two Churches share in terms of doctrine, worship and religious life.
