Summary/Abstract: Over the past decade, there has been a decline in the productivity growth of European economies. An undesirable trend, which is largely determined by the current digital skills of human capital. The development of adequate policies aimed at achieving higher productivity through the effective use of human resources in the era of digitalization and artificial intelligence, determines the current study. Its aim is to conduct a cluster analysis of the indicators that make up the „Human Capital“ dimension – a component of the DESI index, and labour productivity in EU member states, identifying similarities and differences in terms of the formed digital skills of the workforce and the achieved level of labour productivity in these countries.
