Summary/Abstract: Mother-daughter relationship is a topical issue in the '70s of the twentieth century – a period known as the third one in the development of feminism. At that time, the problem of the return to the depths of the primary confluence with the mother before verbal abduction of women from the paternalistic discourse was revealed through the figures of Demeter and Persephone. The text considers two versions of the significant mythological story of Demeter and Persephone, indicating the specific issues in the relationship between mothers and daughters.
