Summary/Abstract: The topic of sustainable entrepreneurship has received considerable attention worldwide. The importance of issues connected with the wide implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) principles in the Czech Republic has increased since the country’s accession to the European Union. This paper explores possible ways to implement sustainable business practices in the Czech Republic as well as its further development. Moreover, it includes the identification of key areas of importance to the process of systemic support of sustainable business activities. The article also presents the results of an empirical investigation that maps government support of CSR among selected companies in the Czech Republic.
