Summary/Abstract: With the advent of globalization, virtual teams are now commonplace within the work environment. Despite this, many areas still lack sufficient access to Information and Communication Technology. This study uses a structured questionnaire to acquire respondents’ data and feedback. The study is based on the virtual team participant´s feedback and indicates that problems originate from the Course Management System as well as the absence of sufficient tools, methods for mutual communication and collaboration, previous practice to use the tools and managerial skills to foster virtual teamwork.
