Summary/Abstract: Katharevousa, used in Bulgaria as a literary language standard, is the oldest Slavic lit-erary language and Demotici, which is written version in Macedonia, ‒ the youngest one. The dia-lect of Gostivar, which is my native dialect is phonetically archaic from the dialect of Debar, and is crucial because it has retained the East reflex for the nasal sounds.
