Summary/Abstract: In this study we refer to a topic which had greatly been treated in the diachronic studies of the Albanian language, but focused on a different perspective, we hope to through light, continue, and fulfill the research further on in the future. In this beginning, we have tried to give a short diachronic presentation of “the fate” of slavisms in the beginnigs of the Albanian writings, to continue with the first lexicographic Albanian work, the dictionary of Franciscus Blanchus in 1635 up to the latest dictionary in 2006. Sufficed with the evidentation of the words in the dictionary, we aim to give a semantic approach of these words in the future, which would be cruical even for other determinations being in abeyance in the recent studies.
