Summary/Abstract: The present paper analyzes the reasons for nongrammatical usage of two direct objects in same verbal clause. One of the elements is internal, cognate object. Mainly, that kind of verbal construction is stylistically marked. That structure is found in Bulgarian folklore lines as a result from syntactic contamination. The process of phraseologisation of figura etymologica also reflects on dou-ble direct object usage.
