Summary/Abstract: Modern business services constitute one of the most dynamically developing branches in the economy especially in Poland. Over the past several years Polish cities have been offering specific location factors allowing over 500 outsourced service centres to begin their activity. Together they employ over 150 thousand people [2015]. Intense economic links between those cities have led to the establishment of yet further service centres. This branch has been a driving force behind modern office estate market. The aim of this paper is to analyse the development (as well as its reasons) of the outsourcing service centres in Poland and also to compare it with the phenomenon in the East European market.
