Summary/Abstract: In this paper I treat possible discourses in a diaspora situation, focusing on the life story of an artist living in a South-Transylvanian diasporic locality. My interest is how a naive artist living in a diaspora speaks about herself, how she constructs textually herself. What kind of stories will form her life story, what are the moments of her life that she considers worth telling and that organize her identity. Do the motives of diasporization emerge spontaneously in her storytelling, and if they do, how? Does it mean a problem, a scarcity for her, to live in a diaspora? The story of A.E. is part of the story of the community, the motives of her story are the motives that guide the memory of the community.
