Summary/Abstract: the report treats the existing legal regulation and the case-law of the Constitutional court of the Republic of Bulgaria on disputes concerning the legality of elections of the National Assembly as a whole as well as the election of individual members of the National Assembly. As a result from this investigation some suggestions de lege ferenda are made in the aim of assuring a real opportunity for participants to defend their rights in the electoral process
