Summary/Abstract: The inviolability of person as a fundamental human right is expressed through the idea of the autonomy of patient. Autonomy of patient is a fundamental ethical and legal principle in medicine. The principle of autonomy has an important role in the development of bioethics. The subject of this study is the development of national legislation regulating the autonomy of the patient.
