Summary/Abstract: The article reviews the risk factors of the effect of the asbestos on the health of the workers. The strongly carcinogenic effect of asbestos has been highlighted. Organizational measures to protect workers during demolition of buildings have been proposed. The necessity to keep the population safe during transportation and storage of materials containing asbestos is strongly emphasized.
