Summary/Abstract: Barrel-epicycloidal and Barrel-hypocycloidal gears are well familiar. The barrel wheels of these gears have a compound constitution. In order to make full systematics of the epicycloidal and hypocycloidal internal gears it is necessary to add a new group of gears based on the barrel gears. In these gears the profile of the epicycloidal tooth, respectively the hypocycloidal tooth, is preserved and the barrel wheel is replaced with a monolithic one.
