Summary/Abstract: Predicting is a key element of the process of decision making. The ability to analyse the uncontrollable aspects of different types of events is an important factor in this process. The development of computer technologies leads to the emergence of new methods of predicting, such as fuzzy systems. This work shows a step in the creation of genetic fuzzy system, namely coding of linguistic variables of the fuzzy system FSSAM.
