Summary/Abstract: One of the most disputed phenomena of the information society is the expansion of personal space with the help of web 2.0 tools. An important interface for this purpose is Instagram. Through analysing the self-disclosure and fan-community gathering methods of adolescents living in Hungary, Rita Glózer finds that in essence, online social communication has similar objectives to offline social communication.
