Summary/Abstract: Folk dances utilised in education may foster the awareness of cultural heritage, dialogue with music and language and the ways of acquiring specific skills and developing musical capacity. The teaching of music with the incorporation of dance constitutes a complex of the components of studying in direct reference to the natural emotional and aesthetic experiences. This facilitates the development of numerous aspects of a child’s personality and enables them to express themselves by means of music.
