Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the works of Marta Górnicka, one of the most interesting young theater artists in Poland. Górnicka is the author of the original project – the chorus theater, which combines the ancient traditions of the choir (in its restored and subversive version) with contemporary political commitment. The only means of expression in her performances are the body and the voice of performers, who represent the voice of the community. The choir claims about the interests of groups excluded and discriminated for various reasons: women in a patriarchal system, immigrants, Roma, employees used by corporations. Perhaps this perspective makes the Choir perfectly received in different parts of the world.
