Summary/Abstract: The article is a reflection on the evaluation of language proficiency in the context of distance learning and the use of the Moodle educational platform. The aim of the article is to present some practical issues which are important in the planning of the learning process - distance learning. Therefore, the author tries to analyze the technical possibilities of the platform in terms of language education, especially the tools of competence assessment, their parameters and pedagogical supervision.
