Summary/Abstract: The foreign language teaching process does not remain unaffected by the rapid development of modern information and communication technologies, taking into account the more and more frequent use of broadly defined multimedia tools and devices. These include free access applications, such as, for instance, simple word processors, but also the so-called new media, as well as educational tools. The main objective of this paper is to provide a detailed analysis of e-learning platforms, which constitute a state-of-the-art element of the last category.
