Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is a presentation of the problems connected with the different aspects of linguistic change, with particular emphasis on the reanalysis. It takes into account the differences between external / internal, systemic / non-systemic, and regular / non-regular changes. The author presents the original approach to the causal factors of linguistic change based on the distinction between tendencies, conditions and mechanism. The article treats about various cases of linguistic change in different languages, particularly in Spanish.
