Summary/Abstract: In my article I give a short review about the basics of the reactive rocket engines. The basic engine designs of the solid and liquid fuel rocket engines, and some examples how they were used throughout the history. I give a short explanation about the technology that made possible to effectively destroy ballistic missiles. With the help of a recent event, I will demonstrate that, the surface-to-air missiles are capable of intercepting, and destroying an unserviceable satellite.
