Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with the genesis of shaping and reshaping the Bosniak cultural identity, through all historical misfortune and changes. In novelistic cycle Zamjene and Krivice, as well as the novel CrnoTurci, Husein Bašić writes out the historical doom of Sandžak Bosniaks and beyond, in the area of Balkan demarcation and the area of new lords, after Ottoman withdrawal.
