Summary/Abstract: The article presents some summary dialectical maps from the last volume of the Slavic Linguistic Atlas. In these maps are mapped the names of the holiday-ritual Slavonic folk terminology. The lexical similarities and differences between the Slavic dialects, that are related to the word-forming formats, the nomination and the semantics, are analyzed. The interaction between the dialects, the place of the Bulgarian dialects as part of the Slavic language family and the importance of linguistic geography in the linguistic and cultural context is sought.
