Summary/Abstract: From a medical point of view, assisted reproductive technologies solve many of the problems faced by couples who are unable to conceive, but at the same time raise issues which need to be addressed in both an ethical and a legal way. The aim of this paper is to present the aspects of assisted reproduction which could potentially serve as the basis of discrimination.
