Summary/Abstract: Almost 20 million children across the EU are at risk of poverty in 2016. This is contrary to the objectives of ensuring the well-being and normal development of children. The report looks at the various official documents, both nationally and at European level, governing children’s rights, aiming at identifying weaknesses in the existing legislative basis.
