Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to focus on the chosen aspects of talking about taboo during teaching Polish as a foreign language. The paper consists of a few parts. In the beginning, it is considered the relation between the cultural differences and the role of taboo in the proper communication. The next topic is the character of the job of Polish as a foreign language teacher with the foreign students, dilemmas connected with introducing of the taboo topics on the Polish as a foreign language lesson and the ways of talking about taboo in the educational materials.
