Summary/Abstract: The essence and motives of social investment of public organizations are considered. The role of social mobilization in the revitalization of social investment, which implies the involvement of citizens to cooperation in the social problems pressing and the search for sources of social investment in priority social projects and programs, is elicited. The areas for further improvement of the processes of social investment of public organizations in Ukraine are indicated.
