Summary/Abstract: The accession of Bulgaria to EU and implementation of the CAP have substantially changed the conditions for food and beverage production and trade. There are unfavorable trends in the development of the wine sector. The total areas under vines and greatly reduced and have an impact on the physical volumes of grape production. This raises the need to study and study the state and the future development of the wine sector in Bulgaria.
