Summary/Abstract: The viticulture and wine production are sectors with significant socio-economic importance for many European countries and regional economies, as well as for the economy of the European Union (EU) as a whole. These traditional sectors for Bulgaria have the necessary potential to create income and jobs, and balancing development of rural areas. The purpose of this report is to reveal the possibility of the wine sector to create employment and enhance socio-economic conditions in the regional aspect.
