Summary/Abstract: The national legislation provides for considerable privileges for the domestic arbitral awards in respect to the possibility of attaching legal effects. The paper analyzes and criticizes this legislation and its interpretation and application in constructive way, thus suggesting possible amendments. For the latter purpose, the most important international instruments and the international trends and approaches in other legal systems are also considered.
