Summary/Abstract: At strategic level, early warning and prevention of terrorist situations is a very important issue both for the states and for the interests of international organizations. Conflict prevention and crisis management are major concerns at the NATO level, particularly in the context of the current security environment marked by deep and surprising changes at geopolitical and geostrategic level. More and more states, air forces and many others develop or purchase AEW&C systems. Countries such as the U.S.A., Russia and China, which are powerful air forces, as well as countries that are smaller in size or have less powerful air forces, such as Sweden, Italy, Israel, Mexico, etc. operate these extremely important systems.
