Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the study of activities to prevent legitimate business activities through the prism of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and that in itself – to prevent legitimate business activities is considered as one of the crimes in the field of economic activity.Therefore, based on the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, both the simple composition of the crime and the qualification structure are described, as well as attention is paid to the disclosure of the issues of involving to responsibility for this composition. In addition, attention is paid to the definition of the essence of the concept of entrepreneurial activity, consideration of the legislative framework of the Republic of Azerbaijan which regulates entrepreneurial activity in the country, and the directions of state activity in the field of improving the implementation of entrepreneurial activity are disclosed.
