Summary/Abstract: This study addresses the problem of professional stress in support teachers. The activity of the support teachers is very demanding, from several perspectives: the high and varied educational needs of the students with CES, the intense emotional demand of the support teachers, the resistance of the students, parents, the society regarding the inclusive education. The range of requests and challenges in the professional plan of the support teachers can generate psychological problems: stress at work, emotional exhaustion that denotes the need to call for psychological services, the need to call for psychological assistance. The experimental investigation of the level of professional stress, emotional exhaustion of the support teachers as well as the ways of preventing and overcoming the professional stress are of interest.
