Summary/Abstract: In 2010 and 2011 the Department of Music (Faculty of Education, Masaryk University in Brno) conducted a nation wide extensive research based on the questionnaire addressed to all elementary and secondary schools in the Czech Republic, regarding the degree of multimedia using by teachers in music lessons (types and forms). The research also explored the musical skills of teachers and monitored their qualification. The results are presented and theoretically reflected in this study.
