Summary/Abstract: In this paper is analyzed from a contrastive approach the expression of motion in Spanish and Slovak putting emphasis on Spanish motion verbs ir, venir and llegar that cause great difficulties both to teachers and students of Spanish as to translators and interpreters. In this paper we mention the reasons why errors in using these three verbs occur and we explain the origin of them.
