Summary/Abstract: The paper summarizes structure and processes of crisis management on the regional level (e. g. floods). Emphasis is placed on solution of crisis situations connected with creation of relevant legislature and regional documents and results of empirical research are evaluated. In conclusion there are formulated proposals for improvement of crisis management system in region with emphasis on issue of financing.
