Summary/Abstract: The paper first introduces the topic of knowledge management in public administration. Its main focus is to summarize how it was approached in research in the Czech Republic. The research of which the preliminary results are presented is based on research outputs as recorded in the Czech information system for research, experimental development and innovations [the called "RIV"). The results indicate particularly the novelty of the topic as well as relatively high ICT-oriented approaches.
