Summary/Abstract: The article analyses the impact of the state regulation on a housing loan market in Slovakia in the period of 2010 till 2015. This issue is explored by the case study that enables a holistic view of the influence of three factors [policies) in one area and comparing the situation prior to and after the policy changes.
